Question About Magnavox TV DVD Combo SHX HQ mts/sap

Where do I hook-up speakers? To the headphone outlet or to the audio outlet? The TV is hooked up to a Dish Network, and there are three plugs(yellow, white and red) attached to the front of the TV. Do I remove the two audio plugs to hook up separate speakers?
