Question About Magnavox VCR CMWV405
recording issues...

my Grandma got this VCR and try and try we cannot get the timer recording to work. we follow the manual and it seems like it turns on and records for about 5-10 seconds and then stops and the timer light flashes... sooo frustrating... and more so for an 81 yr old who just wants to tape her favorite shows...
