Question About Memorex DVD Player MVD2042
lights on but nobody's home...

the standby light stays on all the time but nothing, I mean nothing works. I've unplugged it over night and still nothing. I assume it's now an anchor. Question is is there a way to get a dvd out that is in the tray with out taking a hammer to it?
