Question About Memorex DVD Player MVDR2100
why would dvd error appear...

i've tried with several memorex 4.7gb blank dvd-r in the drive. and everytime i do i recieve the message error with i line through a cd. why is this and how do i correct it? i have a memorex mvdr2100
