I got this VCR from a guy who every now and then, when he is in our small local town, said that it works. I did though only $10.00. I know that at least the remote has good batteries. I did get it hooked up to best of my skills. I hooked it up the same way that the old one was, which it died. It is hooked to the tv but also to the back of our dish reciver. I tried to change the 4 to which the other one was. but nothing changed it will rewind or fastforward. It tries to set the time, if I push play it is in good condition.. Thank You Emlee
