Question About Mitsubishi Electronics VCR U56
tape handling problems...

When attempting to load a tape, it goes in, then mechanical squeals come from inside the vcr for a couple of seconds & then it shuts itself off. Won't eject a tape with out help by putting fingers in & pushing the tape up slightly.
