Tape stuck

for Mitsubishi Electronics VCR

A VHS tape broke inside the player and now won't come out. Also, when I power up, it spins it's gears for several seconds and then automatically powers back down. Thanks for any help.

    Take the bottom cover off and replace the black belt.

    I took the bottom cover off and the black belt had fallen off, so I put it back on the two points and now it works! Thanks Rick!
