CANT GET THE CABLE/ channels to work on my sylvani...

CANT GET THE CABLE/ channels to work on my sylvania superset II remote on-screen system tv. Ita from 1989 and the model number is RPJ710 CH02 and the serial number is 65957261. The cable cords aré pligter from the tv to the wall and i have gotten it to work before but its been a long time and I can't figure it out.
