I have tried to charge my SDVD8727. There is no way for me to check the battery status. I have charged it with the wall AC adapter and tried to plug it back in with the car AC adapter. In the car, the player comes on, loads and then dies. It works when I have it plugged into the wall and I know the lighter/car adapter works. Any ideas on how I can either find out how much battery there is left or how to make the DVD player stop shutting off in the car?
