We have a Sylvania DVC 865F, combined VCR/DVD player but cannot seem to find the right combination of settings on the tv (Phillips) and the player to enable us to start playing a DVD. For example, do we hit on 'HDMI 1' etc on the TV, is there a specific channel channel for the TV to be set on in order for the DV player to work, etc? Any suggestions?
