how do i reset sylvania-(funai)-, DVD Recorder mod...

how do i reset sylvania-(funai)-, DVD Recorder model ZC320SL8B? I have sound ,plays dvd's,sound only,tv signal comes through, sound only. Worked fine yesterday....At the very least...could someone walk me through how to finalize a dvd"AS IF I WERE BLIND"!...i have dvds ive been recording on of family and only way i can watch them is to finalize them ,-but i have no picture!...PLease help!!!
