how do i get the progressive scan light off , cant get picture on the dvd side however can on the vcr side

3 Turn off the progressive scan by taking the dvd out and push play for 5 seconds.

0 sir, i dont know how to sett my sylvania video cassette dvd / cd prayer to pray pa cassette. what can i do?
