I need a remote for this model DVC840F. Can i get a universal somewhere? Mine was damaged in house fire.

5 I would recommend the Logitech Harmony 650. You can pick this up for $70 and it is extremely easy to use. My family loves it! You can control any device and with the "watch tv" and "watch movie" hot keys, you can set all of your devices with a single button! Programming it is a piece of cake with the USB port and any computer. You can even program events to happen in sequence with delays.
