Question About Sylvania Flat Panel Television 6632LCT

My Mother-In-Law has a Sylvania 6632LCT TV and all of a sudden the picture is either all red, or all black (at least, all the people are red or black - there are some things in the background that she says are unclear). Can you help? I am 700 miles from her and trying to help long distance. And, she lost her remote to the tv
