I HAVE A 32 IN flat screen sylvania and its showin...

I HAVE A 32 IN flat screen sylvania and its showing a screen thats changing different colors and it want let me turn it off or it want let me use the remote, i tryed unplugging it and taking the cable off and that didn't work. What can i do?
