This tv was given to me by a friend, with NO REMOTE!! I plug cable cord in and the up, down channel on the tv goes from channel 2 to AUX and back. I went and bought a universal remote......I've tried 2 that give me codes for Sylvania tv and can't get either to adapt. Do I have to have an original remote to program or make the tv part work? The DVD and VHS work fine. Can you suggest a remote (universal) that will work? HELP!!
