I have a Toshiba SD-392SU vcr/dvd player. When I plug it in the screen lights up and the DVD VCR indicators come on, but I cannot get anything else to work (doors to open) either by directly pushing the buttons or using the remote. I have put fresh batteries in the remote. Can you suggest my next steps?
