Question About Magnavox DVD VCR Combo DV220MW9
I had a electric blowout in one of my bedrooms out...

I had a electric blowout in one of my bedrooms outlets,where I lost power in my room, where my tv was located, why would that cause my television to go out? When the occurrance happened in the other room? Anyways, my tv no longer operates at all, totally dead. It is a magnavox cd/vhs comb, 7 yrs. old, should I just buy another or fix it?
