for Samsung Flat Panel Television LN52B530P7F

Hi my samsung ln52b530p7f keeps shutting off then comes back on repeatedly. Sometimes it seems to happen after a prolonged periods but not always. What could be causing this problem? Will I be able to fix it myself?
