I have a L19T11W-A and I think that the changer is...

I have a L19T11W-A and I think that the changer is wearing/worn out. I have tried putting new batteries (Duracell Ultra Power AA) but the TV is reluctant to switch on. Do I need a new changer and if so where can I get it from.
