mounting tv to wall, the screws supplied with wall...

mounting tv to wall, the screws supplied with wall bracket do not fit threaded holes in back of tv . what size screws are needed for wall mount?? Do I have to use all 4 holes in the back of tv to support properly ??? TV Sylvania model #LC370SS8 serial # j38742286
