The sound from my 26 ins Bush iD HD ready DIGITAL ...

The sound from my 26 ins Bush iD HD ready DIGITAL TV appears unaffected, yet the picture has suddenly and almost completely faded to a barely legible pulse on a black background. Is this a rectifiable problem (I have no remote to this TV!).
