Question About Panasonic CRT Television TX-51P100H
panasonic projection tv TX-51P100H...

After about 5 minutes after switched on ,bottom half of picture disappears. A short while later, tv automatically switches off. I suspect some dry solder joints somewhere, since knocking the set sometimes turns the picture but aftera while, the set auto switches off.

0 I have solved the intermittent problem of bottom half picture disppears after few mintues of switching tv set on. The culprit is the LA7876 vertical deflection IC. There were cracks in the solder of some of the pins, discovered when trying to pry the IC away from the heat sink, intending to replace the IC
