How do you close out a DVD after you recorded it? We have TV cameras running into the dmr t2020. It will record onto a disc and I can play it using the 52020 but it won't play on any other DVD player. Am I not closing it the disc out right?

5 Sadly, these devices use a special encoding software, meaning it can only be played on the same device as it was recorded on. However, in some cases you can transfer the file to your PC, and then edit the file name to for example .avi, .mkv etc. if you change it to .mkv and it works, download the program vlc player. It will play any video file you throw at it and it's free. Then you have to burn a new DVD, or transfer the file to a flash drive (USB flash drive for example). Hope it works out for you.
