5 I have just had this same experience :) Once you have turned the DVD on, and your TV is on, press and hold the number 1 along with whatever other button means "enter" on your remote. In my case it was the "OK" button. Hold down both buttons at the same time, for about 5 seconds, and it should reset your remote. My TV came back on immediately. Good Luck! Also, if it were an "RC2" or "RC3" code, you would use whatever number in place of the "1" above.
