I would like to know what disc to use to go from VHS to digital. Does it take a special formatting to get the DVD Recorder to recognize the disc? The VHS plays well and is their an automatic removal of lines from the tape or do you have to watch the tape while recording and keep getting the lines to minimize. This tape is of a trip to Peru in 1979 and I want to insure I get the best digital with minimal adjusting of the tape. Thank You, Chip Efferson
