the remote will not work since I accidentally selected RC3 and I cannot even change channel with remote let alone record anything or play anything with the remote. I can play and record when I maqnually do so from the machine but not with the remote.

4 I also have this same problem. Did you find a solution? The manual doesn't help because it tells you to go to the menu but you can't because the remote won't work and no access to menu through DVD. Any help please?
