Unlike my previous Panasonic DMR-E75V, my EZ485V (just set up last week) will not record in timer mode unless the recorder is turned off, and the recorder will not turn off without also turning the TV off. The TV and recorder are on separate cable feeds via a splitter coming from the cable connection. Is there a way to get the recorder to turn off, thus enabling scheduled timer recording, while TV is on? Any help much appreciated.
