I would like to know the difference between the model number listed above and model #TH46P280U. The most important thing for me to know does the model# above have the same technology built into the tv as model#TH46P280U. The model number above was found at a Costco and is $500 cheaper then model#TH46P280U. Thanks

5 The above post is not correct. Both the FD18 and 80U have video noise reduction and DCR. Both are shown in the manual. The FD18 has a matte black pannel while the 80U has a glassy black. The FD18 also adds a PC input that isn't on the 80U.

5 The Th-C46fd18 from Costco is the TH-PZ80U minus the video noise reduction and the Digital Cinema Reality but it has a PC connection that the PZ80U dosen't have. I found this out from live chat with a Panasonic Tech.

0 I also saw the same model at Costco and could only fin the Model number on the Panasonic site related to a 42" set. Panasonic does not list a 46" Plasma part number TH-C46FD18, only TH-C46PZ85OU and TH-46PZ8OU. I'm interested in the difference as well. See URL
