HELLO; I HAVE PANASONIC PLASMA FLAT SCREEN TV MODE...

HELLO; I HAVE PANASONIC PLASMA FLAT SCREEN TV MODEL TH-50PE8U SCREEN SAYS 'CHANNEL NOT AVAIL. NO SIGNAL" I HAVE CHECKED THE INPUT, ITS FINE ON HDMI 1. I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL REMOTE TO THE TV. JUST THE CABLE REMOTE-WOW. BUTTONS ON FRONT OF TV WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO CHANGE CHANNEL. IT SAYS CHANNEL 1. WHAT DO I DO?
