I had a replacement lamp sent by circuit city which was an aftermarket product. The instructions to reset the lamp timer say to see the instructions sheet included with the Panasonic replacement lamp. Unfortunately the third party replacement lamp I got does not have these instructions. So, can anyone advise how to reset the lamp timer? I'm still gettting the annoying blue screen message every time I turn the TV on. Thanks.

3 Shuould have tried an online search first. It didn't take too much effort to find the answer. Press and hold the down volume button on the TV and the "Swap/Play" button on the TV remote AT THE SAME TIME. After 4-5 seconds an onscreen message will indicate the timer has been reset to 0. And an interesting note, with the TV off and cooled down, press the volume down on the TV and the TV/Video button on the remote at the same time to get a history of the lamp timer. The TV will turn on with a screen providing total hours, hours on current bulb, total times the TV has been turned on, etc. To get the information screen to disappear turn the tv off.
