3 If you have the remote control for this machine, simply go into MENU on screen - using up/down arrow keys on r/c - scroll to CLOCK SET - and again using up/down/left/right arrow keys set year day month hour minute according to your taste. If your clock is set roughly to the correct time of day, timer recording is possible using PROG CHECK button on remote and following the on screen prompts. easy! As for the operation manual, it may be available to download as a .pdf from many websites in case the above does not help.
