The ManualsOnline team has found the manual for this product! We hope it helps solve your problem. Get the Manual Here
0 the easiest way to check to see if this machine's RF output is UHF channel 21, using remote control (a universal all-in-1 remote sometimes works with this model including menus unless you have the original) press and hold MENU for 5 seconds until CH 37 appears on the front display.. using left/right arrow keys, simply go through the sequence of numbers until CH 21 appears (unless your model is not capable of RF channel 21 output) 21 is the lowest value, while 69 is the highest generally. 37 is the default for models ending in A. if yours is NV-FJ630A then it is Australian, and setting RF output to 21 should be easy, however, using A-V leads instead of RF channel produces a better quality video picture on modern TVs. If your Tv has AV inputs - set the RF output of vcr to OFF (while doing above to bring CH 37 up on front - go through numbers until CH -- appears - this is RF OFF - to exit once you reach this - simply press MENU on r/c twice.) If you are still in doubt, or for some reason it won't let you do this, your best bet is to try and find the operation manual. a link has been provided where you can get a small .pdf of the instructions. a dialog should pop up asking if you want to open or save it. (save it for future reference - rename the saved document to the model of your machine eg. NV-FJ630.pdf - the default filename is F000982.pdf) - hope this helps.
