I hooked up the Ethernet to my Phillips bdp2900 player, went to network and did the automatic setup, the player said that the connection was made but when I checked the connection status it states that it is disconnected. I repeated the processes several times and even did the manual process but was never able to create a connection. I checked the router the cable modem and am still unable to create the network connection. What Else can I try?
