Question About Philips DVD Player DVD727/17
DVD does not turn on...

the dvd player has power, the red light is on, but when i push the standby-on button nothing happens. i have tried pluging the cord into a different outlet but still nothing happens. i do have a dvd in the payer and cannot get it out.
