I bought this player Philips PET741A 7" Portable D...

I bought this player Philips PET741A 7" Portable DVD Player a couple years ago for my granddaughter. We just tried to play a movie and it has sound but you can not see the picture. Now my 2 yr. old grandson was watching it last, so has he dimmed the screen somehow?
