i have just bought a new tv and trying to connect to the dvd recorder. i have connected the aeriel to the dvd player, and then to the tv, and then connected the tv and dvd player with a scart lead. However-this only allows me to watch dvds, and watch tv when the dvd player is off-when the dvd player is on it does not recieve a digital signal, this i presume is because the digital signal needs to come from through the tv first. however, the tv does not seem to have any output that i can then connect to the dvd player so that i can record digital tv. is there any way around this?
