My Playstation 3 won't connect to my magnavox 46mf...

My Playstation 3 won't connect to my magnavox 46mf440b/f7 tv anymore. It works on other TVs so the ps3 isn't the problem. It tells me that the "device control inactive" everytime I turn on the ps3. How can I fix this?
