BUTTON AILMENT{I THINK}...

WHEN I TURN ON MY TV, IT WILL STAY ON FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN GO OUT. NO PICTURE AND NO SOUND. I CAN TURN ON AGAIN AND IT WILL DO THE SAME THING. THE "ON LIGHT" IS ON BUT NO PIC.:NO SOUND. I TRIED A PIECE OF SCOTCH TAPE ON THE BUTTON AND IT STAYED ON FOR 10 OR 15 MIN. HELP.
