5 try this - With TV on. Hold down key till lite stays on. Press device key (tv, vcr, etc.) and lite blinks off briefly and stay on. Press channel up (up to 300 or so times )until channel changes. Press mute button to lock in the code. I got mine in about 10 (grin)... hope it works for you
