Question About Philips Universal Remote None
Remote light is on, but the remote does not work...

The batteries ran out on the remote after a year's use. I bought some more batteries for the remote earlier today. The light will come telling me that the remote is responding to the batteries. However, the remote does not change channels, volume, or turn on and off. I am unsure as to what to do. I would appreciate any help.
