Question About Philips VCR DVDR3545V/37
how do you hook it up...

I have dish network, we have a vcr hooked to it on our old tv. I need to know how to hook this dvr/vcr combo to the sat.box and if it will work. Do I have to hook anything to the tv or just the dvr/vcr to sat box. Help
