Question About Philips VCR SVB106
playing back a dvd-r...

I am trying to play a dvd that I burned on a cpu. It will play fine on a playstation 3 and on my panasonic dvd player. It is a dvd-r which is supposed to play fine on the phillips sva106, however when I insert the disc it shows unsupported. Can anyone help me out with this?
