I purchased a GE Universal remote control to replace the lost original remote for my Polaroid 20" LCD model FLM-2017. The GE remote will sometimes turn the TV on or off, but it's very frustrating because I may have to press the button a dozen times before any action occurs. However, once the TV is on, the remote works fine with channels, volume, etc. Any advice?
