vga support -when i first pluged my tv to my pc it...

vga support -when i first pluged my tv to my pc it worked but when i added a spliter for my pc monitor and tv i only got a picture on the computer monitor not the tv then i tried them both individualy and only the pc monitor worked. need help please.
