I recently updated the Comcast cable service with a Motorola DCH70 digital set top box. This will allow me to use an analog TV set after February 17. I am using a signal splitter to connect to a ProScan VCR PSVR73 in parallel to the Motorola DCH70 and the TV. On the PSVR73 I can get the correct channels to display when I enter a 2 digit code. However when I use the same code in program mode, only channel 3 appears during the recording. This channel is used by the Motorola DCH70 for the regular 3 digit channel codes. Is there any way to get the PSVR73 software changed to expect a 3 digit channel in the program mode? Thank you!
