0 It was supposed to work by just plugging it in if you have an RCA television. It did not. Even when I tried to program the codes in for RCA it still didn't work. Ihave put if on a Sylvania and I still can't get it programmed in from the codes in the book. I bought another brand for the RCA and installed it. NO problem. I still want to use the box on my Sylvania. This has become a real problem. I won't buy another like it. I did follow specific directions in the booklet and the quick setup guide.
