When setting up the converter box when it's brand new, I'm able to choose the language. The next step requires the converter box to scan for channels. This process begins, but then gets stuck at 69% of channels scanned and will not process any further. If you try to stop scan (by pressing the menu key) the whole converter box device completely turns off like it has no power at all (no red or green light and nothing works any longer.
