TELEVISION DOES NOT TURN ON...

PRESSED POWER BUTTON TO TURN ON TV. INDICATOR LIGHT STAYS ON FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN SHUTS DOWN. NO SOUND OR PICTURE PRIOR TO SHUT-DOWN.
