i cannot program this remote to this dvd player-sva model dv5008 was wondering if there was a code for it

0 My remote to my tv quit and I cannot get it to channel 3, I bought RCA univeral remote rcr461 to try, tv is Magnavox, I am not getting anywhere with this. I guess I am just a dumb blonde with brown hair
